The Maryknoll Pilgrimage/Retreat to
Central America is open to Bishops, Priests, Brothers, and Deacons. Participants
will visit the various sacred places where church people lived and worked, and
where they were martyred in Central America.
Retreatants will have the opportunity of
meeting and engaging in conversation with missioners, as well as local church
people living and working in Central America, oftentimes in very challenging
They will visit the graves of Blessed Archbishop
Romero, Fr. Stan Rother, priest of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, Bishop
Gerardi of Guatemala, the martyred Religious women, including two Maryknoll
Sisters, the Jesuits and their companions, as well as others who gave their
lives in witness to the Gospel.
